Some words about this blog!

It might seem a little too late for writing a post on why I chose this name for my blog or what is the whole purpose of blogging here... but as they say, it's never too late! I always had this on my mind to start writing publicly but I was kinda scared. One day I just overcame my fear and started blogging on blogfa. Naming it "Asbechin", which reminded me of my uncle and his arbor in a village in the north of Iran, I started blogging. Well, It just didn't turn out to be the one I wanted and in the meantime a good friend of mine suggested to open a blog on blogger. I gave it a try...
This time I contemplated all the details. Well, not all but most of them including the proper name! Licorice... "Wait... wait.. it is either taken or for some other reasons they are not allowing me to take this sub-domain!" that's what I thought, "but thanks to spelling differences, I have another option! Liquorice." Hmm! This wiggly red line appears every time I write Liquorice! Liquorice, Liquorice, Liquorice!!! With no specific reason, I decided to start with lik-ə-rish!! It was a hassle; Therefore I changed it to liquorice, still not good enough but better in so many ways. After all being said, the gist is to say the Persian word for licorice which makes more sense for a personal blog! It is called "Shirin bayan" in Persian, "bayan" meaning statement, by which I meant to bring "Shirin's statements" to reader's mind, still having doubts if it worked or not though! Help me with this!

Hmm! Somewhat!!

All in all, I thought of this blog to be a place to share my concerns, thoughts and sometimes my diaries. Although I haven't got as many feedback as I expected, I'm happy with what I'm doing. I know that one day I will appreciate it all and this gives me the power and motivation to keep up. If you only knew how your comments or even stats of the blog make my day.
